后置定语什么意思

如果是一个短语或是一个句子来作定语就放在被修饰词的后面叫作后置定语。如
a book on the desk短语作定置定语
the boy standing at the door分词短语作定语
the students who have passed the exam句子作定语

通常，定语用在中心语前面，若定语被放在了中心语的后面，这就称定语后置。
