为什么不用were而是用was？是不是就远或者就进原则？还是其他的

就近原则啦
很多句子都是这样地说
比如说
There is a little boy and a little girl.
老师是这么讲的

当there be结构后面有并列主语时，谓语也和最临近的那个一致。
如：There is a pen and many books on the table.
桌子上有一枝笔和许多本书。
There' re ten chairs and a table in the house.
屋子里有十把椅子和一张桌子。
