每个人对歌的理解不一样啊，我只是谈谈我的理解，因为我也很喜欢Damien Rice～

我觉得这歌是在唱一种男人的初恋情节吧，男人的初恋是会一辈子埋在心里的，我主要是因为那句but you can't paint an elephant，我的初恋女友会画一种很奇怪的小猪，我跟她经常互相画给对方玩，后来这段感情结束了，再找其他的女孩，虽然也很好，什么都很好，但是她不会画那种小猪，她还是没法取代那个我心中的位置，事实上谁都取代不了，因为再也没有别人会画了，就是这么一种感觉，呵呵，我听歌总喜欢跟自己的经历联系起来。
