英语短语能够充当哪些成分

问题太笼统了不好回答…英语短语有很多，除了动词短语和副词短语，还有介词短语、名词短语、形容词等，大多都是各类词组合而成为短语…更有一些习惯用语固定搭配也可作短语讲。常见的短语搭配结构举例：1.动词短语(1)动词+介词/副词:care about,bring back;(2)动+副+介:add up to,catch up with,look forward to,date back to;(3)动+名+介:take part in,make use of;2.形容词+介词（常在形容词前加be或系动词）:good at;3.名+介：respond to.充当什么成分主要取决于短语的形式及位置。如：1.I'm good at basketball.（谓语）2.I like basketball which I am good at.（定语从句作修饰语）3.Date back to the 19s century,（date back to作状语）4.What we need most is to help with each other.（表语）5.Help yourself to the fish.（祈使句，作独立成分）6.I find it hard to make friends with others.（作宾语，it作形式宾）.7.Making friends with others is to hard for me.（主语）.甚至可作连词:We do this in order to make them happy.还有The game was put off because of a heavy rain.（because of作连词）…还有什么插入语啊…几乎每种成分都可以…我不写了…手机没电了
