就是电影开始不久，在教室那段：
山姆在教室展示他祖父那时所用的工具,同学们都嘲笑他在推销一些老古董,最后老师也不给他A,只给他B-.但最终他用三寸不烂之舌说动了老师,给了他一个A-.山姆千方百计想要得到A是因为他爸爸答应给他买车,但前提是必须得到3个A,还要自己拿出两千元.如今山姆得到了最后一个A,于是兴高采烈地跟着父亲去买车。
