《夏日最后的玫瑰》是一首在世界上广为流传的抒情歌曲。它原是一首古老的爱尔兰民谣，曲名叫《年轻人的梦》。后来，—个叫米利金的人，给它重新填词，改名为《布拉尼的小树林》。到了十九世纪，爱尔兰著名诗人汤姆斯．摩尔对它发生兴趣，可是他对前面那两首词都不满意，于是，为它又重新填了词，改名为《夏日最后的玫瑰》。
爱尔兰诗人汤姆斯.摩尔(Thomas Moore, 1779-1852) 写于1805年
