doctoral student 和phD student 有什么区别？

美国同一个学院的博士生，有的叫doctoral student，有的叫PHD。

所有的博士生都叫doctoral student； PhD student 也指博士生，但不代表所有专业的博士生，最早是指哲学博士，后来才泛指博士生。

PHD好像是在读博士生的意思，没有拿到博士学位证之前都叫phd
