than any other后跟单数还是复数？

在学习比较级时，有一种比较急表示最高级的用法。
就是than any other + n
名词到底是单数还是复数，举例说明

我在有关的书上，看到 than any other 后加单数名词和复数名词均可.

复数
she is more beautiful than any other girls
单数情况有没有我不清楚 ;P

adj-er than any other 名词单数
adj-er than any of the others 可以和上面的互换都是用比较级表达最高级概念
others 本身是代词，等于other 加 名词

恩。我记得是

any other + n.单数 “其他的任何一个”

shanghai is larger than any cities in India .同一个范围的时候才+other的吧
