Traveling is fun, adventurous and memorable. Tour guides are there to help us make traveling more enjoyable. The profession of being a tour guide demands skill, patience, and the keen ability to think on your feet. Having a tour guide allow you to travel confidently as he or she is able to organise your daily schedule, tell you where to do so you won't get lost. The tour guide is also able to tell you very useful information about the local area and explain more about things during the tour.

Sometimes though, it is better to travel without a tour guide. You are able to travel freely, without a schedule. Therefore, you are able to stay in one place you like for as long as you want. This will allow you to enjoy the tour more.

To conclude, having or not having a tour guide when traveling overseas have their upsides and downsides. However, in my opinion, it is better to have a tour guide. This is because it is better to feel safe and secure overseas.
