1.about this brdge没有修饰 就是 “对于这座桥来说”的意思
2.It takes sb sometimes to do sth这个句型就是 做某事花费某人多长时间
这句
the towers took sixteen months to build.
意思就是 这座塔的建成花了16个月。

可以改成
It took sixteen months to build the towers.
