随着中国与世界的交流日益频繁，现在小学生也开始学习英语。对每一个英语教师来说，怎样运用一个合适的方法来教这些幼小但活泼的小学生是个问题。传统乏味的教学方式很难适应学生们的特性。语言总是在特定环境中开展的，因此，在教学中，我运用情景模式的语言教学来加强（学生们的）理解能力并且达到了一定的成效。情景语言教学是一种非常著名的教学方法，它通过创造真实的生活环境来教语言。它对教导小学生学习语言特别有效，因为它符合了学生的性格特征以及基础英语的内容，由于小学生不太能够理解抽象的东西，但是他们通过直接感知看到的景象能容易地理解语言，并且也乐于参加进来。此外，这些内容都是与现实生活紧密相关的。这一方法可以通过真实的事物、卡片、利用课内可用的材料、设计活动和动作来实现。与此同时，在使用这一方法时有几点要注意的。总之，这些途径很好的创造了一个环境，从而使情景语言教学成为教导小学生学习语言的一个很好方式。
