The purpose of sicenctific research is to solve scientific problems. In order to solve these problems, people make speculative statements or assumptive explanations about researched problems and relative phenomena, based on existing scientific facts and theories. Such speculative statements or assumptive explanations are hypotheses. The understanding of mankind towards gene was a process of continuously alternating hypotheses, while to some extent genetics was developing when mankind were understanding the gene gradually. So, to discuss the scientific hypotheses and their effects in gene knowledge bears significance of both epistemology and methodology to guide people in undertaking scientific research.
