翻译“人民满意村”、“人民满意社区”、“人民满意集镇”

一楼： People's satisfaction with the community 是“人民对社区的满意情况”，与楼主给的意思相距甚远

二楼： The People-satisfied Village 为中国式英语，更适合中国人看，英文里的Satisfactory 一次就可以表示“使人满意的”，“让人称道的”等意思，根本用不着说 People-satisfied

既然是牌匾，必须正确，否则容易闹笑话！楼上几位的译法有点死板、僵化，不过二楼的朋友看上去英文功底还不错！

本人2003年来美国的，一晃在旧金山生活六年了，~~~~(>_<)~~~~ 对英美文化有较深认识，经思考建议翻译如下：

人民满意村 Satisfactory Village

人民满意社区 Satisfactory Community

人民满意集镇 Satisfactory Market Town

也可以这样说：

人民满意村 Commendable Village

人民满意社区 Commendable Community

人民满意集镇 Commendable Market Town

Commendable ---- 值得赞美, 很好的, 可钦佩的

“集镇” 是贸易区，在我们这里都用Market Town，不用“Grouping Town”

强烈推荐用我给的第二种译法，当然第一种也不错！
