Employment ads usually come under the heading of "appointments" in British newspapers and "jobs" in American newspapers. Ads for some major corporations can take up as much as a quarter to half a page and are usually written in a straightforward way, without abbreviations. They are easy to recognize, usually with a logo and description of the company and usually deal with fairly high positions (at the executive or professional level) and have stringently high qualifications. Job responsibilities and qualifications are clearly stated in full sentences. These types of ads are quite easy to read.
