Lost Generation refers to a group of American literary notables who lived in Paris and other parts of Europe from the time period which saw the end of World War I to the beginning of the Great Depression. Significant members included Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ezra Pound, Sherwood Anderson, Waldo Peirce,and John Dos Passos. The coining of the phrase is traditionally attributed to Gertrude Stein and was then popularized by Ernest Hemingway in the epigraph to his novel The Sun Also Rises and his memoir A Moveable Feast.

迷惘的一代

我认为现在的八零九零后就是迷惘的一代。在他们身上有无数人的谴责，他们已经尽力了，北京奥运会上的志愿者有多少是他们，“复兴之路”上的演员全是北京的大学生，有的人甚至在整场节目中演了三四个角色，但其他人却还是像从前那样对待。我也是九零后，1996年的。我想问一下那些七零后六零后，你们说自己很成熟，很伟大，但你们有没有从我们的角度出发。现在就业难，什么都难，你说我们怎能不困惑，不迷惘？！我觉得lost generation就写出了当代青年的无奈。
