dialogue是对话，必须有两个人在互相说话，一般用在书里，口语不怎么用

talk可以使任何形式的说话，一个人对一群人的讲话也可以用talk

conversation是一个人以上的说话，一般是讨论一个主题
(They are having a conversation)

chat是聊天，不一定有个主题，就是随便说话
(She is chatting with her friend on qq)

gossip是绯闻，八卦等，是在人群中传播的
