would sooner do than do

有，宁愿快点去干某事(不好的事）也不愿意去干另一件事（好事，但很麻烦，不乐意）。

情态动词用法，与would rather 类似，意为宁愿，表选择，后接动词原形，其简略式为 'd rather,可接than。类似用法还有：had rather(...than) 和 had sooner (...than)。例句：
I would rather stay here than do home.= I would stay here rather than go home.
我宁愿呆在这儿，也不愿回家。
If i have a choice, I had sooner not continue my studies at this school.
如果有选择的余地，我宁可辍学离开这个学校。

搭配应该是no sooner。。。than。。。吧 would只是个用来倒装的副词。
