注意第一个one，是说这个人，1个人，所以是was
were a 很常见
you were a hero你是个英雄，用在 you 后面
因为是指一个one of，所以应用singular form
可以有 …… were a ……这种形式:
e.g. The police are a disciplinary force.
one of xxx，说的是其中之一，当然是三单啊。were a是可能的。具体语法的解释记不清了，但举例来说When I was in college, all students in our class were a family.
