i am a student live in canada. resently, i met a serious problem about renting house, the detail is that i found a new house which is better than which i have now, but the landlord restrict me to do so, and threaned me if i move out, she will never give the deporsit back to me, it is 400 cnd!!!!! help me!!!! i am a chinese as well!!!!

I think ,your landlord should give the deporsit back to you. But,if the contract said she needn't give the deporsit to you,or there isn't have any contract between you,I think,you can't get you deporsit. Maybe you can make a phone to embassy to solve this problem, or you can ask your Canadian classmate to help you.
