在...（范围外）的前面

There is a tree in front of the classroom.
（树在教室外面）

in the front of

在...（范围内）的前部
There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom
（黑板在教室里面）

好象没什么区别哦。。。

in front of:物体的前方（比如，你站在车的前方）
in the front of:物体内部的前面（比如，你站在教室的前部，也就是黑板的位置）

A in front of B 是A在B的前面
后者是A在B的前部，首先A是B的一部分或在B的内部，其次A是在前部，如椅子在教室的前部，这时椅子是在教室里的
