The Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower was constructed in 1991. It finish it's construction in 1994 and is opened to the public from then onwards. Everyday, thousands of people from all parts of the world visit it. It is 486 metres tall, which makes it the tallest building in Asia, and the third in place in the whole world.
