几个英语白送分问题

此句中的destroying是动名词(并非现在分词)，因为by是介词，介词后面的动词应该用动名词(ing)形式，因为原本介词应与名词组成介宾短语从而在句子中充当成份的，因此在介词后面用到动词的时候就要用动名词或者其相应的名词。
这里by destroying his shop作方式状语。

2>people would rather pay large sums of money than have their life work destroyed by gangsters
have sth done.是“让……被”的意思，这里就是让他们的工作生活被歹徒毁掉，因为sth(their life work)与do(destroy)是被动关系，所以用过去分词destroyed，另外by sb表示“被某人”，也表示这里的被动关系
3>had a picture paint也是二句中的用法，是“让一幅画被画”，也就是找人画一个幅的意思

by 是介词，通过的意思，做方式状语（通过毁坏一个商店就可以眼很快让一个人事业）

2....people would rather pay large sums of money than have their life work destroyed by gangsters.这句中than 后面没明白,have 为什么放这儿,倒装句?那么正过来怎么说呢?而且好象destroyed 应该是被动吧?没看见be动词.
have sth. done: (让别人)把某事做成，固定词组
