意思是说古代某国,飞马传书,因马掌缺了一个钉子,造成马掌脱落,战马仆倒,战士摔死,信未送到,战争失败,最终导致了国家灭亡。谁也没有想到,致使国家灭亡的竟会是一颗小小的钉子——正是这颗小小的钉子,造成了一系列的连锁反应,其结局是惨重的。它们告诉人们:“小洞不补,大洞吃苦”,量变终究会发生质变。
