Could I Use English

I have left China for many years, so typing in Chinese is a very much time consuming challenge to me. Though I have been fairly active at Baidu asking and responding in English, every now and then I received messages like this one:

另外给你提个建议。。。。都中国人，少在这show off你的英语。。。没什么意义。。。想联系英语去国外的论坛，成吗？？？
讨厌你这种虚伪的卖国贼。。。。。

My questions are:
1. Do I become a 卖国贼 by using English?
2. Are Chinese embracing participants using other languages? There are so many overseas Chinese on the same boat like me?

I have promised to say bye to Baidu. This is my last question. Bye for good.

一个真正的双语者是使用英文和洋人沟通，使用中文和中国人沟通。

想象一下，如果你是一个白种美国人，在美国白人的某个论坛上老用中文回答问题，然后说你在中国待了很多年，英文块忘光了，美国人怎么看你？

--Don't abuse other posters, it's that
simple. Disagree with someone's opinions by all means except express a
