怎么也想不明白，为什么C和D不对呀？哪位帮忙分析一下，谢谢。
我这个材料给的答案是D 首先排除了B和C 解释是except for用在除了不同属性事物 except用在同属性事物，因为village和gas station不是同类所以书上说是D，可是我觉得B和C也没错呀。困惑ing

从句意上看意思是说除了加油站以外古老的新英格兰村庄变化很小，因此选D。
如果选B的话，句子意思变成不单加油站，另外也有变化，与原句句意相反。
而D是指除加油站以外，其他没有变化，与原句意思相同。
C是另外，加上的意思，所以肯定不应该选的。
