什么时候用most,什么时候用 most of?

most 用法较多。
据我所知道的有两种很常用
1。做最高级，比如：I love all kinds of sports, but all of them, I love football most.
2.=very 此时的most就是个副词了，比如：It is most pretty.
most of + 名词或代词等 译为：。。。。中的大多数
比如：Most of them are code fans.

most是最,最高级
most of是绝大多数,比如most of the students

通俗来说： most of用于一句话的开头。而 most可用于形容词最高级的提示词，一般要在要在它前面加the 比如：most of us are students(我们大多数都是学生）。it is the most beautiful place that I have ever been to.(这是我曾经去过的最美丽的地方）
