in china, it is very popular to go abroad for further study especially for the young.some parents even try to send their childern abroad to attend middle school. Is it necessary? Different people have different ideas.
some hold a view that there are many advantages to do this. for one thing, the young can learn a foreign language as well as experience foreign culture; for another, they will turn more independent.
some think that the disavantages overweigh the advantages.it is difficult for the young to adjust to culture shock. what is more, unable to take care of themselves, them will be lonely and miss hometown. languag obstacle also will contribute to study difficulties. to the parents, the cost is definitely high.
though there are shortcomings for attending foreign middle school, in my opinion, it is still worthy a try if the parents are rich and wise enough to make their decisions.
