夸父追日

夸父追日——大荒之中，有山名曰成都载天。有人珥两黄蛇，把两黄蛇，名曰夸父。后土生信，信生夸父。夸父不量力，欲追日景，逮之于禺谷。将饮河而不足也，将走大泽，未至，死于此。应龙已杀蚩尤，又杀夸父，乃去南方处之，故南方多雨。

Once upon a time, in the legendary primitive China, on the lofty mountain Chengduzaitian, lived a man named Kuafu who was son of Xin and grandson of Houshi, Kuafu always worn two yellow snakes as his earrings and also hold two yellow snakes in his hands.

Kuafu wanted to do some heroic deeds which could match his bravery and fearlessness, So he decided to pursue the sun. Actually, he almost seize the sun in the valley Yu, but he was too thirsty and tired to kept himself awake that time. though he missed this god-given opportunity, Kuafu didn't give up, he braced himself up quickly and continue to chase the sun. he drank the water in river when he was thirsty, soon the river water was drank off by Kuafu, so he had to head to an even bigger river to take drink, but before he get there, Kuafu died on the way.
