What is the essence of success

Everybody wants to be successful,and everybody wants to know something crucial to success--the essence of success.
In my opinion,the essence of success is someone's diligence and positive attitude.plus a little genius. Take a formula to illustrate:1%genius and 99% diligence,which is the essence of success.
A person born with great genius,if he is proud of his genius and do nothing to develop other abilities,he will not be successful and get nothing in the future.on contrary,a person born with asininity,if he never mind this,and try his best to do everything,he will be successful and rich in spirit and wealth.
Success is independent of genius,only dependent of action in your life.That is the point.
The attitude is also important for people to get success.Being positive is the first thing you do before you take any action.Do hesitate!just be confronted with any difficulty bravely.
In sum.there is no short cut to ge
