WESTERN INFLUENCE ON CHINESE YOUTH

The past years, especially that after the opening-up and reform witnessed the ever growing western influence over Chinese youth.
Personally speaking I think there are several factors account for this:
Firstly,globalization has made the whole world a small villiage,people have more and more ways to get to know the world, also that narrowed and uniformed behavior and ideology of people.
Secondly,nowadays youth in China or the world at large have more choices and are becoming more individualized.Around 1980s' we have uniformed clothing, activity and even the same mental training, but that have changed greatly.
Thirdly, China is growing financially, we have more world class brands like McDonald, KFC, Dior,and things alike, nobody can afford to ignore the big market of east asia. That's can explain why we think we are greatly influenced by the western culture, life style and alike.
