to bank on和depend on 是同一意思吗？不是的话请举例说明

bank on 和depend on 都有“依靠，信赖”的含义。
e.g. 1.I'm banking on you/on your help.
2.He's banking on me to help him with his homework.
3.You can't depend on John-he nearly always comes late.
4.We're depend on you to finish the job by Friday.
但depend on 还有“视……而定，取决于”的含义，而bank on 没有。e.g. The price of the products depend on the number of people who buy them.(产品价格取决于购买者之多少。)
