选D....where=in which...这里要用which必须在前面加in...因为students怎么怎么样的这件被陈述的事是in the cases..(在这些案例里面)..更多需要参考定语从句用法

1. D only 这一类否定副词在句首，句子要部分倒装。正常语序应该是you will be allowed in。倒装是将will提前。
2.D 定语从句。从句还原以后应该是 Students obviously knew a lot of english words and expressions but could not write a good essay in many cases.这里cases是句子的地点状语，因而要求引导这样的定语从句的时候需要用关系副词 where。
整个句子的意思是“我能想象到很多学生明明懂得很多英语的单词和短语却写不出一篇好文章的情况”
顺便说一句 第二题 我觉得更好的应该是有个that的选项，使得空后面的句子成为cases的同位语从句似乎更好。
