Lake Geneva 的 Geneva 就已经是特指了,但是如果是在Lake Geneva的某些东西就要带THE,像The Lake Geneva Region, The Lake Geneva Hotel, etc

The United States of America 是要带THE的国家名 (类似的还有:The Netherlands, The Sudan, The United Kingdom, The People Republic of China, The Kingdom of Sweden etc)
