两个英语的问题

1~ now and forever 应该怎么翻译? 现在和永远???好像不通啊,是歌词里的.
原句:....In the name of love, now and forever.Always there for me.......
----现在到永远 。在爱的名义下，从现在直到永远，为了我一直（留）在那儿。。。
2~ set sb. free是什么意思
原句:But when the time is right.You'll be the first one to set me free. 释放我给我自由?好像也不对啊.
----给某人自由。但是当时间正确时，你将会是第一个给我自由的人。。。

好象台词啊。。。。
