Language study needs more reading ,more writing and more practice. But the most important is that one must be interested in it.So the only thing you can do is cultivating their interest.
But I think you'd better never tell them grammar is the most important part in learning English.I don't think an Englishman can surely learn grammar well,but he can surely speak English well.Why,because he is a native speaker and he speaks it all the time.If we practice it frequently we can also speak it well.
In a word ,let you student listne more ,read more, speak more.After all, the interest will be the best teacher.
