record和album的区别

record是指：thin circular piece of plastic on which sound has been recorded;意即唱片，比如通俗、流行歌曲唱片，又如latest reconds－最新唱片。album是指longpalying record with several items by the same performer(有同一个人的几项演唱或演奏）歌集唱片，除此外还可以指照片集，邮集等等，但record不能这样用。
