1.pending 当...的时候,在...期间，有“事情由于悬而未决而等待解决”的意味，但事情发生/结果的具体时间并不明确

A decision on this case is pending now
- 而今此事即将作出决定.

2.until 直到...为止，事情发生/结果出现有明确时间截点。

I didn't wake up until I heard the alarm clock.
直到听到闹铃为止我才醒来。

Pending: While in the process of; during.也有一点UNTIL的意思
