Anna Sewell was born in Nortfolk in 1820. Due to her disability, she used to move with horse-drawn carriages. From this experience, she leanrt to love animals, specially horses. She was not a prolific writer, for she wrote only one book, Black Beauty, the tale of a mistreated horse.
