(1)句中如果用"any other","boy"不是应该加"s"吗?
any other（其他任何一个），这里 any 表示“任何一个”，后接单数，不能用复数。

(1)Bill is(taller)than (another) boy in his class. (因为boy为单数，所以用another，another是指多者之一）
(2)Bill is(taller)than (other)boys in his class.（因为boys为复数，所以用other，other+名词复数）
