英文xp sp2 安装matlab6.5出错

在英文xp sp2下安装matlab6.5提示

用光盘安装，提示安装Mircosoft java 虚拟机，选择yes,再yes重启，但重启后还是提示需要安装Microsoft Java Virtual Machine，出现循环。单独下载了微软的和sun的java虚拟机也无效，注册表中microsoft下没有java vm(中文xp+sp2下安装有)，本人机器必须用英文xp sp2,时区的标准格式必须用English(United Kingdom)，位置保留china,non-unicode选的chinese(PRC).即使将时区的标准格式改用Chinese(PRC)还是出现以上问题，请问如何解决（急！）
下载了http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp下的java vm（sun公司的）,还是提示需要新版的微软的java vm.补充说明：我的机器为双系统，都为xp sp2,中文下就可安装matlab6.5

微软很早就终止了它自己的JVM开发，微软的java vm不可能有新的版本了。我记得windows updates里面有过MSJVM的补丁包，是在SP2以后发布的，不知道指的是不是那个。
我以前在英文版XP SP2、中文版Vista Ultimate下运行过matlab 6.5，是正常的

可以安装matlab R14那就行了，呵呵
