英语语法中是一些词前面必须加某种词性的词吗

确切地说是：英语中，可数名词单数不能单独使用，前面必须加冠词或形容词性物主代词等限定词。
如：in the bag在袋子里
under the bed 在床下
behind the door在门后
on my desk 在我的桌子上
eat an apple吃个苹果
但有些固定词组，如：play football/basketball/volleyball
at school
at noon
at night
in fact
by car/bus/bike/train/plane/subway 等等，名词前面不加任何冠词。

就你举的例子来说
there is a * on his face 他的脸上有一个* ...(这个实在想不出来什么东西..见谅)
annie hit jack in the face 这里又会用到 the 两种词性就不一样
当然也可以不用加 直接就可以连接 比如 on foot 不过意思与 on the foot也就不一样了

不是的.有些词前必须有冠词.do one's homework;make the tea;
有些不能用任何冠词:play basketball;
