这其实考的是比较级中的同级比较。这句话前面是人称主格，后面也应该是
试比较The population of Japan is larger than that of any country in Africa和Japan is larger than any ccountry in Africa
说的是他们“有”钱，所以They usually have less money at the end of the month 应该和than 后面是两个并列的句子。
than的后面应该是how much they have,这里有个省略
不知道是不是对的．．．．

C they have 非常正确，因为than 是关系代词引导定语从句，在从句中作宾语。如： He often asks more money than he needs
