other 能修饰不可数名词吗？the other +不可数名词=the others吗？

other+不可数名词，不用加the

（1）other用作形容词时，意思是“其他的”，指尚未列举提到的部分，其后一般接复数名词。 other+复数=others

（2）other作代词时，除习惯用语外，一般不单独使用，但other的复数形式，即 others则可单独使用，泛指“别人；其它的东西”。
