hosts文件失效的问题！！

最近因为玩一个网游需要hosts文件来连接，我在网吧打，但是c盘并没保护，所以在指定的目录覆盖了hosts文件，连的时候却怎么都连不上去，在家里玩时一样的hosts能上，文件覆盖后我也看过没有被修改，网吧系统是xp,求教有可能什么原因导致了hosts文件没有作用，无法连上服务器了？
忘了补充了，感谢下面那位兄弟的回答，但是这个hosts文件是特殊的，就是连游戏需要的内容都在里面，并不是普通的xphosts文件，在家是可以用的！已经试过

XP标准的hosts内容是这样的

你把上面一段复制,再用记事本打开hosts文件,替换即可
