FE analysis of the bus lamp base is performed to vali- date the model using MoldFlow. In analysis, parameter values shown in Table 2 are used. The analysis takes about 8h of CPU time on IBM-P3 processor PC. Warpage values predicted from FE model are compared with those measured on the actual lamp base model provided by the manufacturing company. The comparison for several points is shown in Table 3. Reference points utilized in warpage measure- ment and the measurement process by coordinate measuring machine(CMM) are shown in Fig. 3.
