2、首先影片的起点在中央车站，是中央车站把主人公的命运连接到一起。才有了整篇故事。进而，女主人公在男孩身处险境时曾内心挣扎到底是帮他一把还是冷眼旁观，虽说是女主自己把小男孩推进的火坑，但她最终决定救走小男孩并找寻他的生父。这里是小男孩命运的重要转折（死或生），也是女主人公无意中对自己命运做出的选择，中央车站这个站点正是映射了一个人生选择与人生转折的原点。上了车便踏上了旅程，两位主人的旅程便是寻人的旅程。他二人最终到达了下一站，男孩找到归处，女主找回精神世界的自信。
