辨析:execpt , besides , but

except - 除...之外的
besides - 除了...还有（包括本身）
but - 只有，只能（如此）

execpt除了什么,没有什么.
She has nothing,except her mother.
除了她妈妈,她什么也没有
besides除了什么，还有什么
What other sports do you like besides football?
除了足球,你还喜欢什么运动?
but但是,但也有除了的意思.
I have no choice but to sign the cantract.
我别物选择，只好签了合同.

besides “除了……之外还有”（表示包括在内），但用在否定句中，表示“除……之外没有”此时可用except代替
except 表示“除……之外”（……不包括在内）
but 也表示“除……之外”但是只能用欲every ,any ,no ,all,nobody, anywhere, everything等词以及who,where ,what等疑问词后
eg:The window is never opened except in summer.(不能用but)
