向英语高手请教学习方法,帮个忙

只背单词肯定是不够的啦...然而单词这么多，你又能背得了多少呢？以下介绍本人学的东东，其实是针对阅读理解的一些基本技能而已：
碰上new words可以根据以下几条规律来推断它们的意思：
第一条是definition clues.例子：Linguistics,the science study of language,is very important for language students.这里的Linguistics的意思就是the science study of language.这种规律主要体现在标点符号上——comma（逗号）和dash(破折号)以及parentheses(圆括号)。
第二条是example clues.只要留意像such as,including,for example,dor instance,to illustrate这些词组就可以了。
第三条是class relationship（等级关系）.例子：Beijing,Shanghai,Nanjing,ect,are Chinese cities.这里Beijing,Shanghai,Nanjing都从属于Chinese cities，后者是higher-level.
第四条是contrast relationship（相对关系）.很多时候作者会用一些像hot and cold,left and right之类的反义词来制造一些词义相反的情形。例子：There are no fllip seats available,so they had to buy expensive ones.实际上fllip这个词是不存在的，但我们从expensive ones可以推测出它应该是cheap的意思。在有contrast relationship句子里面通常会用到下面这些词组：unlike,however,while,nevertheless,despite,although,even though and on the other hand.
尽管以上四条规律在理解生词时很多时候是有用的，但也有一定的局限性。毕竟有时候你推测出的意思会是含混不清的，建议做完题后查查字典，同样有助于记单词。（记
