我在安装MATLAB时总是出现下面的显示: The installer cannot read the mwinstall.dll file, This is probably due to a CD reader which can
only read files with an eight.three naming convention.

该装置不能阅读mwinstall.dll档案 这可能是由于光盘读者只能阅读档案eight.three命名的公约. 请看技术支持页,在求助.
可能是cd只能读8.3格式文件名的文件，也就是文件名最多8个字符，后缀最多3个字符的那种，这个是dos的格式，也可能很老的linux也是这样。windows系统都支持长文件名的，不受这个影响。说说你的操作系统看看
我以前也在XP中安装MATLAB很多次，都没有成功。后来我就把电脑装成2000，就安装成功。我推荐大家用2000系统，可能成功的可能性有大些。据说XP中没有捆绑JAVA虚拟机。所以很多机器都装不了。
