当前,我国信息化建设已到了推进企业信息化的重要阶段。企业信息化是国家信息化的基础,是当前我国推进经济信息化的重中之重。随着国有企业改革步伐的加快,企业信息化必将成为人们关注的焦点。
今天的企业信息化,要建立在企业Intranet基础上,随着Intranet的迅猛发展, Intranet已成为企业建网的主流,国内企业都纷纷建立起自己的Intranet网,利用Intranet特有的信息集成、发布和浏览技术来加强企业的内部联系,增强企业的竞争能力。搞企业信息化,不能不考虑Intranet。
网络是Intranet的核心。小的企业一般只是一个简单的网络,大的企业则是复杂的网络。网络的类型很多,一般有局域网和广域网两大类。如同Intranet, TCP/IP也是Intranet的基础。IP为每个计算机指定了独特的地址,它可以告诉路由器将传输的信息送往何处;TCP用顺序号码标记每个文件包,并在它们到达目的地后重新组合分配。这样一来, Intranet中的任何人或任何部门不必考虑平台类型都能轻而易举地实现联网,并能进一步和Intranet互联。
Intranet并不完全是原来局域网的概念。企业可能是跨地区的,甚至是跨国的,各地可有分公司。这些企业的计算机网络实际上是一个区域网或广域网,是企业的Intranet。
